The National Inquiry into the Future for Lifelong Learning

The Inquiry was sponsored and funded by NIACE. Its remit was to provide an authoritative and coherent strategic framework for lifelong learning in the UK over the following 10-15 years.

The Inquiry had nine independent Commissioners, Chaired by Sir David Watson, and its Secretary was Tom Schuller. The Commission’s published a range of papers on specific topics, and its final report can be found here.
